Hi all,

Here is one of my latest renderings. Overall and a close up.

Programs used are Form-Z, Blender, Maxwell Render and PS.

Really nice work!
It looks a little too bright to me... maybe it is my monitor.

Thanks,

My initial thought was it was a bit bright too. It has been confirmed, thank you. I will play with the camera settings on the mxi file and see what I can do.

Nice work!
Though, it seems there's something wrong with people (a bit out of scale?)

BTW, how did you get all the vegetation from Blender to Maxwell?
Did you somehow manage to use Hair/Particles?

Hi m-Que,

The peeps might be a bit out of scale. The client wants them out anyway.

I modeled the terrain in Form-Z then imported the meshes into Blender. I created 4 different strand particle systems for the grass and one for the flowers. The grass was rendered with the Blender internal engine then composited into the Maxwell rendering. It would be nice if we could render straight out of Blender to Maxwell Render. Hopefully in the future we will be able to. Particles and all.

Thanks,

Aaron

Cool Aaron,
Thanks for the explanation.
And I agree about Blender - too bad it's being ignored, especially now, when it's out of beta, I just don't get it :(

BTW, good to hear the client wants people out of the picture; usually it the opposite (more people, more people...)
