not sure if it's maxwell or maya viewport issue, but suddenly all polygons display as single sided after switching to "textured" (6), but in shaded (5) they look double sided. cannot find how to fix that... somebody knows how ?

Are your surface normals pointing the right direction?

Yea I see what you mean. As I usually have back face culling on I'm not sure how to undo it. Resetting it to defaults doesn't fix it either. Looks as if it's something to do with the shader though.

If you go into your shading tab and tick on "use default material" it fixes the problem(Pretty sure textures will disappear though). Also if your in Maxwell persp rather then Maya's default persp everything double sided appears again.

It's an issue with the Maxwell material code, we'll take care of it for the next build.

thanx all, I'm not sure a new build will help me since I'm using old maxwell but who knows ... it was ok but suddenly changed to this strange behavior.

yeah, I tried playing with camera clips, shaders, whatever... maybe it's because I've installed a newer driver from Nvidia.
I don't get it. It worked perfect for years and now this...
