Maxwell should be able to round or bevel edges(user could choose options such as type: rounded or bevel & steps and %) during its "voxelization" so that hard edges can be eliminated..(without wasting time/texture resourse on maiking an image texture map to use up the only displacment map allowed per material too)

this could be run as a mini displacment type of aproach maybe..
and if it can't be setup in materials properties then it could be in geometry attribute properties

(mentalray and renderman both have this in rendering options)

it has been asked several times.
and I agree, it would be a very helpful feature which could save you a lot of time on the modelling process!

I will totally agree, in fast architectural modelling in for example archicad or revit you don't want to go throught 3D modelingtool and round every sharp edge.

This would be great. Particularly in SketchUp, you can only make a bevel/rounded edge so small, and once you do it becomes less easy to edit. A universal option like this would be perfect.

it would be a nice addition, if it can be used to prevent "corner artefacts" on displacement it would be very useful !
