Did you try the latest plug-in? It should work in LW 10.

thanks for the quick info.

i was wondering because NL release latest LW Plugin update only a couple of days ago without any Lightwave 10 installation.
ok, if (?) it is full compatible with LW 10 why NL makes no installation routine for 10 ?
the release from LW 10 is not a unforseen surprise,or ?

The plug-in isn't specifically compiled for LW10, but it should work. On Windows, you can just put the path to LW10 in the LW9 field. On OSX there's no installer at all, so you just copy it like you would for LW9.

In my experience (MacUB 32 & 64 of LW10), the MW LW 2.5.4 plugin works fine (even Fire works).

TIP: when using your LW10 folder as an installation path, just make sure to move the fresh installed maxwell plugin to the new default plugin path, which is inside /support/plugins for LW 10. but i guess this will be fixed in a future version of the installer?! ;)

cheers
