Teabag, that's pretty sexy looking tarnished copper you know :shock: ..now i wonder why i haven't seen this until now. Are you using displacement for it or is it only using bumpmaps ?

Guys,

As I'm going to be doing a Audi Car soon (same tutorial as Nico but ill model extras lights etc) the tire materials have been already created by users and a good job all round - I'm currently playing with paint finishes for the last week trying to get the right look with metallic and pearlescent! Once complete ill sell the metallic for a £1 and the pearlescent for £2 on dvc3dtextures :) Ill post something as soon as!

These are the materials (Still Tweaking) :

Oh :shock: those are pretty looking Teabag. You got the flakes in there and all that. You should run some quick tests on a carbody model.

Thanks Max!! haha! rendering some body tests now as we speak! The flecks were the challenging part of the materials! the car body renders will reveal if it works or not! :D
