Hi!
Some time ago I made a complete library of RAL paint colors (198 materials) to use them in architecture. I hope this could be useful to anyone

http://www.ral.de/en/ral_farben/home/index.php
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAL_%28col ... _system%29

Here is the complete RAL mxm library

Yea yeahh!!

thanks so much!
so useful...
gonna check it out right now....

i'm actually looking for NEON (spray) colored material,
like RAL 2005 neon red...

I'm just testing the RAL2005 in the Library, but I think
one needs to add some kind of emitter to really simulate
neon, which emits more light than a standard paint...

anybody a clue how to do that??
thanks in advance!

Tobias K.

Hi klestijl,

A SubSurface layer would do that. Pick a red material and add SubSurface layer to its base BSDF (not specular one). Give same or darker version of the reflectance color as transmittance color and render. You'll see it will start to scatter the light inside and will turn out more red.

Best regards,
tom

Glad you like it!

I have a RAL chart in my office, and I think there are some neon colors. I'll check it tomorrow
