I use these packages:

GLIBC 2.5 version:

maxwell64-1.6-fc6.tar.gz -- Maxwell Render 1.6
Maxwell Render 1.6 (Linux 64 bits) glibc version: 2.5 (84,59 Mb) Nov 28 07

next I patch with this package:

maxwell64-1.6.1-exes.fc6.tar.gz -- Maxwell Render 1.6.1
Maxwell Render 1.6.1 (Linux 64 bits) glibc version: 2.5 (11.31 Mb) UPDATED! Feb 04 08

Finally all new nodes are installed and are running together with the windows nodes!

I'm running a Benchwall 1.6 test now will post the result when they are done...

Here are the results:

Linux64 machine, dual Quad Core 5345, 2.33ghz, 4GB ram:
SL:15, Benchmark: 677,239, 16m06sec

win32 machine, dual Quad Core 5335, 2.0ghz, 4GB ram:
SL:15, Benchmark: 804.126, 13m21sec

Tom where in the pipeline is the optimization of the linux version?

/ Patrik

I'm rendering in Co-Op as much as I can atm to see if I can find some bugs :)

I'vge seen some strange things, for example, I've had the "not enough licenses-issue" once, restarted the rendering and it rendered fine though.

I've also had the problem that MXCL crashes when it tryes to start a render.
Last time that happened I restarted mxcl on that node, and it crashed again at the same time. Restarted it again and that time it started to render?

Ill test more until we call it a bug though :)

If I render the Benchwell scene in Co-Op mode I get another result... the linux nodes are faster (Pathera, Mustang, Corvette):

tom, I've seen that textures are loaded fine at the Linux nodes, but it cant find the IOR files. UNTIL i put them inside the texture-folder.

Yeah well, my 13 rendernodes are back to Win64, with licenses and everything. So my linux-train has passed for now I'm afraid...
