I think this might be related to problems I have with map scale, but I'm noticing today that if I select a group of objects with a UV set applied, then select all the UV's in the UV sets window and hit remove, they look like they delete but if you select again one of the objects the UV set is still there. I can go in and delete a UV set from a single object and it stays removed, but not from multiple objects. This sux because it's a very slow process!

Is there another way to strip off these UV's all at once?

Are you talking about maxwell studio? Maybe someone here knows how to help with this, but the general advice is dont use studio as an editing tool, its not really intended for scene creation. Its more for tweaking environment and camera settings, testing materials, stuff like that, and its also essential so that cross platform users can inspect other users scenes.

I am talking about studio, but I'm not talking about creating anything in Studio. I'm talking about objects imported from Rhino, Sketchup, Max, etc.

These programs apply mapping coordinates to objects that carry into Studio when exported using the Maxwell plugins. Unfortunately, these UV's don't work quite the same way in Studio so it is often the case I want to re-align, or re-scale a map in Studio, or apply a different material and I find the UV sets need to be reassigned. The problem is that I can't get rid of the UV set of an object unless I select them one at a time. I may have a hundred of the same objects I want to delete the UV's from and don't want to do it one at a time.

Mapping in studio is certainly tough, isn't there another workflow? Importing all into max? ofcourse I dont know your situation, so not much I can say. Any studio users out there?
