Hi JD,

Just upgraded to SU Pro 8. Will 2.1.1 work in this newest version?
It does not overwrite version 7 so my MW install is still intact.

Later,
Herman

On Windows it seems to work fine so far (on Pro -- non-Pro is not supported on any SketchUp version); on OSX, SketchUp 8 is not loading the plugin's exporter library.

You are correct JD.

I wanted to check before I messed anything up.
I copied the files from my Sketchup Pro 7 version 2.1.1 install.
Just copy over the maxwell.rb and maxwell folder into the sketchup 8 folder Plugins and the Skp2mxs.dll into the sketchup 8 Exporters folder.
So far, everything is bliss.

Keep up the great work JD.
Herman

Hello all.

JD - how does it look for the Mac? Is it a case of waiting for the next version of your venerable plugin? On this side SU8 doesn't look mission critical; I imagine that one could always model in SU8, then open in SU7 and render from there ...

I can't really say, because there is not yet a public SDK for SketchUp 8. Google says they expect to deliver it next week.

Hello everybody ...

Just wondering if there is any news on this front ? Has G'gl released the new SDK?
